Dakota Terrill Sacke (born September 12, 1990 in Dallas, Texas), better known by his stage name Kasland, is an American rapper. Kasland began writing poetry at a young age, he used his poetry to express his feelings and emotions throughout his childhood. While living in Dallas, Kasland was introduced to rap music in which he became very intrigued with. At the age of fifteen he decided to begin making music of his own. Kasland had spent three years studying the art of music, working behind the scenes, and improving as an artist. In 2009 Kasland decided to release mixtapes to begin building his fan base. Kasland had worked with many artists in the music industry and had discovered many opportunities to assist him with his career along the way.
You may know him for the famous Cole Train rap from Gears Of War, or maybe from Xbox LIVE with the Post Oak Gamers. With over a quarter million plays in his first year, Kasland has certainly achieved many accomplishments throughout his career. As a dedicated artist, Kasland strives to be the best that he can be. He gives it his all from the stage to the studio, and nothing less. Kasland's broad imagination and intelligent lyrics are what keeps his popularity growing. When composing a new song, not only does he write music, but he creates a story within. Kasland's vision for art is far beyond the vocals and instruments. It is a vision where anything and everything is a possibility.
Early in his career, Kasland had created a fictional character in his mind known as Mr. K. Sleezy, who represents the fun, spontaneous, outgoing side of Kasland. Mr. K. Sleezy is commonly mistaken for a psychopathic maniac for the careless remarks he makes. He is portrayed to live in an Insane Asylum known as, Sleezy Asylum, locked away deep in the dark halls in room 28, a padded cell. Mr. K. Sleezy was sent to the asylum for a critical overdose of a hypnotic prescription drug called Zolpidem (Ambien) and has caused nothing but chaos ever since his arrival. His comrades gave him the name "The Boogeyman" shortly after hearing him for the first time, the name had stuck since. Some call him funny, some call him annoying, either way he will always just be Mr. K. Sleezy.
